Love the Candid Dallas Singles Events Bug
Not that I am not so miserable, but dating games don’t “get” me. I finally bottomed out, this week I filed three years of back taxes. As a coping mechanism of datelessness, of course. You better believe it was great. Does that tell you anything? Well, it’s when I first thought about getting out to date in Denver or Dallas.
I already knew the solution. I’ll ease back into dating thru this Dallas dating service. Definitely sounds like a plan. Why do I bring it up? We were at Julie’s soccer finals at Oak Park last week, Jim asked me if I’ve met a special lady. I just can’t believe that came up. Anyway, I looked up at them and yelled, “I’m working on it, chill out.”
Can you believe that even Cousin Terry opining on the topic of my companionship situation. I joked to the family gang: “Dating isn’t for me, but I’ll never find a gorgeous single woman hanging out with you.”
Do you have any idea what happened next? They smiled politely. Perturbed, I fell asleep that night just to get some perspective. I still have no idea what to do! I would have learned more by asking my son. Chuck, who recently moved to Italy advised that I mingle at singles events by Great Expectations. I said, “You know, that’s a good idea.” See, everything always works out. I especially enjoy the singles at Great Expectations Dallas.
At the time, singles events and mixers were new because I’m a traditionalist of sorts. This was all really foreign to me, that my hands started sweating. That emotional anxiety didn’t pull the plug on the evening. That night I enjoyed was a great way to start at Great Expectations. The one cool thing that really struck me were the many enjoyable people I met, all available singles.
I started going to these splendid Great Expectations Dallas singles events, I rubbed elbows with a collection of dynamite friends who I could tell have similar ideas for how dating should be done. Can’t imagine why I used to let so many people give me a hard time about living the bachelor’s life after all these years. Amazingly enough, dating with Great Expectations is my pleasure and care-free social experience.
